Phil Dixon, the co-founder of the Negro Leagues Baseball museum, will talk about the K.C. Monarchs Wilber Rogan, considered to be the best all-round ball player ever, and the Negro Leagues baseball history.
Phil S. Dixon, author, historian and co-founder of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, is on a cross-country tour presenting his program on the Kansas City Monarchs, their star, Wilber “Bullet” Rogan, and the history of the Negro Leagues.
Along with the slide presentation, test your baseball knowledge and have the chance to win baseball cards and other items. This is an entertaining program for all ages. Manitou spring water lemonade and popcorn will be served. Mr. Dixon’s books will be available for those interested.
