The Colorado Documentary Project is dedicated to gripping storytelling, original research, and community-building through the production and distribution of documentary films about our region. During the Colorado Documentary Project students produce their own films while examining the history, codes and conventions of the documentary form. Students also participate in an externship at a Colorado non-profit organization. These externships inspire their final projects as they work with Colorado College professors Dylan Nelson and Clay Haskell to uncover meaningful stories and produce compelling documentary films about Colorado society, history and culture.
