Presented by Pikes Peak Library District at Ivywild School Auditorium

Local climber and author, Stewart Green, will be presenting on “The History of Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region,” followed by a gear exchange at Ivywild.

Part 1: Steward Green,┬áborn and raised in Colorado Springs, has been a writer and photographer since 1977. Since the mid-1980s, Stewart has worked as a contract writer and photographer for Globe Pequot Press/Falcon Guides, writing and photographing over 26 books as of 2014. As a photojournalist, Stewart’s photographs have appeared in numerous publications, books, and advertisements. There will be books for sale after his presentation. Also, the first 120 pints of beer are free from Bristol Brewery at the event!

Part 2: Do you have old camping and hiking gear? Ready to clean out your garage this Fall? Join Pikes Peak Library District for a gear exchange in the Ivywild Gym, following Stewart Green’s presentation!
