The 30th Annual Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival this November is the longest running women’s film festival in North America. The festival showcases documentary, narrative shorts, and animated films that are thought-provoking and enriching, and that encourage global awareness and personal growth through a women’s lens.
The Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival honors films and filmmakers that present the world as women experience it and that inspire curiosity, educate, entertain, and stimulate conversation.
Films will be screened throughout the weekend at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center (FAC), Colorado College Armstrong Hall, Cornerstone’s Richard F. Celeste Theater, and in Cornerstone’s more intimate Film Screening Room.
As always, the weekend will kick off Friday evening with our Opening Night Gala at 6 p.m. followed by our opening line-up at the Fine Arts Center. Films will begin Saturday and Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
We are fortunate each year to host 10-12 of our featured filmmakers. Be sure to take advantage of these opportunities by attending the Filmmaker’s Forums or attending their films for a Q&A session after the film.
