Curiosity Unlimited Lecture Series

Presented by University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) at UCCS - University Center, Room 116

Dr. Esther Lamidi, Assistant Professor of Sociology at UCCS will speak on “Changing Times, Changing Families.”

With more couples choosing co-habitation, a lower birthrate, moms who work, and more same-sex parents, how do these developments affect us all?

A native of Nigeria, Dr. Lamidi earned her PhD from Bowling Green State University. She works with the National Center for Family and Marriage Research to improve the understanding of how family structure is linked to the health and well-being of children, adults, and communities and to inform policy development and program responses.

During this free lecture, coffee and goodies will be provided. There will also be free parking on Level 4 of the parking garage.
