This exciting new series will introduce you to the sport and adventure of rock climbing. Each class features different skills and information. In this class learn about dangers, first aid, loose rock, climbing communication, weather and lightning safety, and safe climbing practices. Presentation in the Red Rocks Room.

This class is part of the Garden of the Gods Gateway Adventure Series held at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center. The series will feature the top naturalists, interpreters, historians, and many special guests to present an array of exciting presentations, demonstrations, and hikes. The series will inform and educate the community on the many unique aspects of Garden of the Gods Park while encouraging environmental awareness of this National Natural Landmark.
