Trent has appeared on The Beat Goes On every year now for the third year in a row. We are throwing him a graduation party at the Gold Room!
Trent Hughes, a young musician from Colorado, is an up and coming artist set on making waves in the music industry with his edgy country sound having roots in southern and classic rock.
The Trent Hughes Band (THB) has performed at many regional festivals on the Front Range including the Greeley Stampede, Cheyenne Frontier Days, and opening the 2016 National Western Stock Show.
THB was nominated by peers in the industry for the prestigious award of “Best New Artist” of 2016 for the Rocky Mountain Country Music Association. THB will debut “Crawl” at the inaugural award show on Oct. 8, 2016.
In 2014, Trent performed at “The Stage” in Nashville on the day of The CMA’s with Sarah Montgomery, Tim Teague, Dirk Weaver, and our friend, TJ Wilder. That performance started the journey and ignited the spark to pursue his passion.
Since the creation of THB three years ago, the THB has performed numerous charity events, music festivals, county and state fairs, and rodeos.
THB embraces new country, while honoring the past. A typical set will include three-chord country, with influences in southern and classic rock with hints of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, and Led Zeppelin. The THB has the ability to perform as a full-on festival band or can tone it down for an intimate acoustic setting.
Trent recently signed with Nan Cassidy of Tunesmith Entertainment. Tunesmith Entertainment is a boutique artist development agency with offices in Indiana, Nashville, and Englewood Florida.
Tunesmith selects artists very carefully and works with a maximum of three artists/groups at a time. Mary Sarah, recently on “The Voice,” was a Tunesmith artist for many years.
