Triple Play Jazz Quartet performs a wide range of jazz styles, from traditional to bebop, swing to bossa’s, ballads to standards and more. Whether you prefer to hit the dance floor or just listen and tap your feet, Triple Play will provide an enjoyable evening of quality jazz.
In November 2014, Maureen Otto invited Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society members Tom Fowler, Trip Ziegler and Pat Abbott to represent PPJASS by providing music for a function in Manitou Springs.
For Tom, Trip and Pat, it was instantaneous “off the charts” jazz chemistry and, most importantly, genuine friendships were forged. They knew they had to play together again and often. Following that initial performance, Tom suggested the group call itself “Triple Play.” As the trio began to gain local popularity, Dave Hardin brought his drums on board to form today’s Triple Play Jazz Quartet.
