“Courses for Creatives” is a series of workshops and mentoring dedicated to supporting and educating the creative, arts, and entertainment industries in how they do business.
Artists, how do you… create an interactive experience surrounding your work? Explain your art and process to others? Interact with the public to create an experience and to cultivate the artist/buyer relationship, garner understanding of your art, and bring the public into your artist’s world?
Learn how to best incorporate interactive activities into public events and spaces through a dynamic panel discussion and presentation including Liese and Kris Chavez of Chavez Gallery, Deb Thornton of Imagination Celebration, and Chris Vestal, President of Pikes Peak Makerspace; moderated by Natalie Johnson, Executive Director of the Manitou Art Center.
Light drinks & snacks will be provided!
Other events in the 2017 series include: Cultivating Your Story, Social Media and the Modern Artist, and Local Opportunities for Creatives.
$10 general admission.
$5 for students (code: STUDENT) and Pikes Peak Arts Council Members (code: PPAC).
