The objective of this class is to teach students how to utilize Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom's Develop Module to demonstrate the editing power of these programs when working with RAW image files.
In this class we will dive deep into the tools used in both programs to edit RAW images. Adobe Camera Raw, which is part of Photoshop, and the Develop Module in Lightoom are almost exactly the same since they use the identical processing engine.
You will learn how to:
Make basic image adjustments.
Use the graduated filter, radial filter, and various fix tools (spot removal tool, crop tool, adjustment brush, etc.).
Apply curve, lens correction, HSL and other adjustments.
Work with multiple files.
Create and utilize presets and snapshots.
Each student is given a CD with a collection of photographs that are used to demonstrate various tools. Everyone works together on the same photos as instruction is given in order to maximize the learning process.
To get the most out of this class you will need a laptop with or Photoshop CC or Lightroom 5. Use of a mouse is highly recommended. You can download a free, 30-day trial of either program at www.adobe.com.
**I need to ask that students refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes and scented lotions in class because I am allergic to those things. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.**
Refunds are issued only if the class is cancelled.
