Step back in time and discover the history and stories of downtown Victor, Colorado.
Starting Saturday, July 16 during the annual Gold Rush Days event in Victor, the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum will begin hosting weekly walking tours of downtown. Meet at the museum at 3rd & Victor Ave. at 10:30 a.m. to take the tour with Victorite Alicia Petri. Learn about the history of the buildings and hear stories about the former residents of the 1890’s gold rush town.
These new and unique tours leave from the museum and last about 45 minutes. The cost is $5 per person and proceeds benefit the museum. All tickets are first-come, first-serve at the time of the tour. Groups are welcome with advance reservations. The tours will be offered each Saturday from July 16 through Labor Day weekend.
