8th Annual Colorado Springs Native American Powwow...

Presented by One Nation Walking Together at Mortgage Solutions Financial EXPO Center

One Nation Walking Together is sponsoring a one-day Native American Traditional Powwow.  This cultural event was started by the Palmer Lake Historical Society in 2009.  Last year, over 2,000 people attended this family-friendly event. Celebrate Native history and culture and enjoy Native drums and dancers, Native art and artisans, live wolf and birds of prey exhibits, Aztec Dancers, Native vendors and Native food, such as Navajo tacos and fry bread, and kid’s activities.

Please bring donations of non-perishable food to help feed the hungry. The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Gourd Dance from 10:00 a.m. to 10.45 a.m. Grand Entry at 11:00 a.m. No drugs, alcohol or pets (except service animals) permitted. Doors open at 9:30 AM.


Cash prizes for dancers. Drums by invitation only.

Admission is $4.00.

Native Americans in full regalia and children 12 and under admitted free.
