PX3 Patriots Celebrity Softball All-Star Weekend a...

Presented by PX3 Research Foundation/PX3 Sports Science at Sky Sox Stadium/Security Field

All—Veteran softball team sponsored by The PX3 Foundation hosts an All-Star Series Weekend, August 19-20, 2016, in Colorado Springs, CO. The two-day event features exclusive opportunities for the public to participate in the PX3 Foundation’s “Support A Warrior Campaign,”  including a tactical shooting experience, opening night reception, a VIP concert and a Celebrity Softball game at Sky Sox/Security Services Field with The Danny Dietz Memorial Fund.

The PX3 Patriots Team includes combat veterans and inspiring American heroes. The lineup in Colorado Springs features Mark “Oz” Geist and John “Tig” Tiegen, members of the CIA Annex Security Team who co-authored the #1 New York Times’ best-seller, “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened In Benghazi.” Joining them in will be two recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor; Lt. Michael Edwin Thornton (USN, SEAL, Ret.), a founding member of SEAL Team Six and Lt. Thomas Norris (USN, SEAL, Ret.) whose combat actions were dramatized in the movie “Bat*21” and later served as an FBI agent for 20 years. The PX3 Patriots are captained by Cindy Dietz-Marsh, Gold Star Mother of Danny Dietz (USN, SEAL) who was killed in actions against the enemy while serving in Afghanistan as part of Operation Red Wings in 2005.

Representing the Danny Dietz Memorial Fund “Frogmen” are celebrities from sports and entertainment who all share a passion for giving back to the military community. Headlining the team is former Dallas Cowboys player Patrick Crayton, actor/writer/director Todd Allen and Jeremy Isenhower, 14-time Softball World Series Tournament Champion and Resmondo Sports/Team USA member. Danny Dietz Sr. and Tiffany Bitz (Danny’s sister) will co-captain the Danny Dietz Frogmen Celebrity All-Star Team.

                About the Danny Dietz Memorial Fund

              The Danny Dietz Memorial Fund is named in honor of Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Danny Phillip Dietz Jr. (January 26, 1980 – June 28, 2005) of Littleton, CO; a U.S. Navy SEAL posthumously awarded the Navy Cross for extraordinary heroism in actions against the enemy while serving in Afghanistan as part of Operation Red Wings.  For more information, please visit

Tactical Shooting Experience, Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex at Fort Carson. Led by former Navy SEAL Medic and Tactical Training Expert David Rutherford, this unforgettable afternoon event will pair each participant with members of the PX3 Patriots, decorated combat Veterans and special guests for a dynamic, “hands-on” experience of combat-style shooting.
Opening Night VIP Reception with Players and Celebrities at The Mining Exchange Hotel in Colorado Springs. PX3 Founder Brad Layzell hosts a VIP Reception to kick-off the weekend festivities. This is your opportunity to meet members of the PX3 Foundation Board, the PX3 Patriots All-Veteran Softball Team and the Celebrity Players representing the Danny Dietz Memorial Fund.
