The Jazz Soirée hosts a fresh, contemporary jazz concert each first Friday of the month in an intimate listening space where the focus is on the music.
March 7, The Jazz Soirée Presents: KALEIDOSCOPE
Improv at it’s best! Some call it Freestyle Jazz, others might say Acid Jazz or even jam jazz, but by any name it is highly creative, real time compostion featuring spontaneous, jazz improvisation.
The FluteDaddy house band for this exciting music experience brings together a uniquely creative group including master jazz bassist Kim Stone, brilliant composer/guitarist Alan Joseph, the imaginative Jana Lee Ross at the keyboard, artistic jazz drummer Randy Bowen and flute innovator Joseph Liberti.
Expect a multi-colored experience of melodies, harmonies and beats from pensive to pulsing, from flowing to funky and in all styles from blues to bop to new age to fusion, to the unexpected.
Michaela Hightower, owner of Soirée presides at the wine bar and serves up wines, craft beers and other beverage specialties as well as tasty cheese and fruit plates.
Meet friends old and new, gaze upon the art, sip some wine and enjoy an extraordinary music experience.
