Dance enthusiasts will not want to miss the final performance by the Oklahoma City Ballet. Celebrating its 45th Anniversary Season, the Oklahoma City Ballet currently boasts 36 dancers from around the world. Founded in 1972 by Ballet Russe dancers Yvonne Chouteau and Miguel Terekhov, the company is now led by Artistic Director Robert Mills. Colorado Springs’ audiences know them for their annual collaboration with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic for The Nutcracker. It is the only ballet company of its size to regularly debut world premiere story ballets with original commissioned scores and to commission new works from the industry’s leading choreographers.
Excerpts will be performed from the company’s vast repertoire, including choreographies from Nacho Duato, Artistic Director Robert Mills
