L3 Create layers of mixed media on journal pages inspired by summer gardens and the ever popular Downton Abbey show.  Using a chidren’s board book, re-purpose the pages with gesso, acrylic paint, collage, stencils, doodles, words, and stamped images to create a one-of-a-kind visual journal.  Pages take shape with blossoms made from stained teabags, the graffiti garden technique, vintage ephemera, and paper napkin collage.  A $5 materials fee is payable to instructor on the first day of class for gesso, acrylic inks and vintage ephemera.  Supply list, Ages 16-Adult.
