The Colorado Springs Chorale announces its 29th annual Chefs’ Gala & Silent Auction, a great opportunity to taste masterpieces created by chefs from twenty-four of the Pikes Peak Region’s finest restaurants and caterers as they go all out in the most challenging culinary competition of them all.
The event, a contest between the best of local chefs in the categories of appetizers, entrées, and desserts is judged by a panel of culinary experts including this year’s Principal Judge, Chef John Moeller, former White House Executive Chef, creating cuisine for three Presidents, their families, and guests. Chef Moeller will be assisted by Jacqueline Hamilton, Sr. Executive Chef of the US Olympic Committee and Michael Paradiso, Culinary Arts Department Chair at Pikes Peak Community College. Chefs’ Gala, the “always awesome” (The Colorado Springs Independent) granddaddy of the Region’s Culinary Competitions has previously been selected by the Gazette’s “GO” as “Best of the Springs, Best Charity Benefit”, and “Best Food-Music Hybrid” by the Independent.
Gala sells out so get your reservations early. Attendees enjoy bidding on fabulous gifts and entertainment and travel opportunities donated by generous Chorale patrons contributing to the Silent Auction. Past event photos and additional information are available on the Chorale website. www.cschorale.org.
