Thursday:

Port and the Foods that Love Them – General Port Seminar

This exciting seminar will explore the various styles of Port and the types of food that enhance the aromas and flavors of Port.

You will enjoy a white Port, Tawny Port, Ruby Port and a 35-year-old Vintage Port.

Alongside these great Ports will be foods that complement the complex flavors of these great wines.

You will enjoy dark chocolate, dried cherries, walnuts and of course Stilton cheese.

Your taste buds are in for a treat!

Friday:

Quattro, Luncheon with Guest Chef Brother Luck:

Chef Brother Luck and his eatery were recently named 2015 “Most Cutting Edge Restaurant” and “Best Local Chef” by The Gazette and Colorado Springs Independent.

Brother Luck was the winner of Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay where he won the judges over with his love of pork and also a finalist on Food Network’s Chopped where Alex Guarnaschelli called him “a wizard in the plating department”.

Wines of Portugal Seminar:

This event will be with our featured winemakers.

 High-End Port Seminar:

In this seminar we will sample some of the best ports available.

We will enjoy 20-year tawny ports and aged vintage ports.

Winston Churchill is the most famous port lover in history and look at the great things he accomplished by drinking port.

Don’t pass up this opportunity to be like Winston Churchill!

The Grand Tasting:

The Wine Festival of Colorado Spring Grand Tasting s is proud to be the best date night in town while featuring over 300 wines plus culinary delights from local restaurants and caterers.

Music will be performed by the Colorado Springs Conservatory.

There will also be a Silent Auction, DJ and Dancing.

Saturday:

Wine and Cheese Seminar:

A Match Made in Heaven, Portuguese Wines and Cheese

Our most popular seminar explores the match made in heaven of a great wine paired with a great cheese.

You will sample several different styles of Portuguese wines and taste them along side several different cheeses from Portugal and other parts of the world.

This is a great way to expand your knowledge of Portuguese wines and cheeses.

You are sure to find a match made in heaven at this seminar.

Gourmet Wine Dinner and Live Auction:

This event is sold out, but there are still tickets available for the Grand Tasting.

Entertainment throughout the Festival will be provided by students, mentors, and alumni of the Colorado Springs Conservatory.
