2. Join the fun at the Iron Pour

Carve tile molds and have them cast in iron at the big iron pour event! Those who would like to participate by carving a tile prior to the iron pour event may do so at one of the instructional workshops. Workshops are every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. leading up to the event on September 29.

Come help the City of Cripple Creek celebrate Arts Month by enjoying a variety of events in the charming “pocket park” located next to Cripple Creek City Hall located on Bennett Avenue.
We work closely with our elected officials to recognize and promote the importance of Arts Month through formal public proclamations in nine area municipalities.
The ArtPOP program will feature 20 different “pop-up” art performances and presentations at various locations throughout the community!

Come to the dedication of the Pikes Peak Litter Letter Project and witness the unveiling of the work “INSPIRE” created with letters built from a giant metal frame and filled with trash gathered from our very own local trails. If you come at 11:30 a.m., help to finish the last letter!

Each year, the Pikes Peak Arts Council honors outstanding creative performances and exhibitions of the region at the PPAC Awards. This red carpet event celebrates vibrant and innovative literary, visual, theater, music, film, and dance artists, as well as arts advocates and organizations.
