Pink House Concerts is a series of concerts created by Gayle and Corlie, two avid fans of live acoustic music, held at their home in Colorado Springs, CO. The pair organized their first concerts to celebrate a birthday and then an anniversary by sharing their favorite musicians with friends and family. It was so much fun that they decided to begin hosting house concerts on a regular basis. Much-appreciated volunteers help make each concert a reality.
Concerts are usually held on Saturday or Sunday afternoons during the summer in the backyard of the Pink House. There’s room for a good-sized bunch of folks and plenty of shade available under a large covered patio. People bring their own portable chairs and a dish to share at the potluck that happens before the music. Pink House Concerts also asks people to bring a suggested donation for the musicians.
Pink House Concerts is a not-for-profit labor of love, with all donations going directly to the artists. Pink House Concerts believes artists deserve support for all the hard work it takes to develop and maintain their musical skills, and for dedicating their lives to making this world a more beautiful place.
At a Pink House Concert, you will experience a fun gathering with a focus on listening to great acoustic music, while also enjoying good food and the company of other music-loving people.
