Words and Music - The Poetry of Dana Gioia

Legendary composers Paul Salerni and Jan Jirasek set to music the poetry of Dana Gioia.  Mr. Gioia is the former chair of the National Endowment for the Arts, and his books include Can Poetry Matter?, Interrogations at Noon, and Pity the Beautiful. The concert features pianist Susan Grace and soprano Valerie Niemerg, as well as other Colorado College performance faculty.  Join us!
