Venetucci: Land & Legacy by Michael Hannigan

Michael Hannigan will speak about the fascinating history of the Venetucci family as well as the importance of the farm today as a high impact program of the Pikes Peak Community Foundation. Located on the southwestern edge of Colorado Springs, this historic 190-acre urban farm, known as the “Pumpkin Farm”, was established by the Venetucci Family in 1936 and has annually continued providing pumpkins to families in the Pikes Peak region for many years.

Michael Hannigan is executive director of the Pikes Peak Foundation, which is committed to dramatically improving the quality of life in the Pikes Peak region through education and the practice of philanthropy.

A book signing will take place after the program.

Program format is in a casual, buffet style dinner setting at a cost of $16. Reservations are suggested by Friday prior, 10 a.m.
