Central City Opera presents Benjamin Britten’s “The Prodigal Son” in Colorado Springs on July 30 at noon. This one-act opera tells the tale of a son who leaves home to seek life in the city but is left penniless and eventually must return home again. Performed at First Christian Church, 16 East Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, in partnership with Opera Theatre of the Rockies.
