Carol Reed’s 1949 film The Third Man has been hailed by audiences and critics alike for its groundbreaking cinematography and its unflinching (and often ironic) presentation of post-war Vienna. Come join Mr. Benjamin Burtzos for a screening and discussion of this marvelous film. Mr. Burtzos studied film at The Colorado College, focusing on American and European cinema of the 1940s and 50s. His senior paper examined the presentation of masculinity in Nicholas Ray’s Rebel Without A Cause.
