For over a decade, Bathhouse John Coughlin called the Pikes Peak Region his summer home and playground. He built a zoological park on his property which entertained thousands.

For over a decade, Bathhouse John Coughlin called the Pikes Peak Region his summer home and playground. He built a zoological park on his property which entertained thousands. Coughlin’s time in Colorado was filled with ambition, involved a little gambling, and a drunken elephant. This talk will explore the stories surrounding Coughlin and the lasting impression he made on the region.
