This winter, Peak Arts Prize launches to fund great art that inspires fresh ideas and grows audiences. Brief video applications are invited online at PeakArtsPrize.org between January 15-February 15. Expert judges will then select finalists to advance to public voting online from March 1-15, when the community will decide which three projects to fund in our region this year!
Applications are invited in three categories: Large Organizations (annual budget over $100,000), Small Organizations (annual budget under $100,000), and Individual Artists. Please read Rules & Eligibility at PeakArtsPrize.org before applying.
To apply, complete the brief online entry form, including a link to your application video. Peak Arts Prize uses a primarily video application. Describe your project in a video of less than 5 minutes. Smart phone videos are welcome! Videos will be judged

Videos will be judged on content, not production quality. But we do encourage you to get creative and convince the judges and voting public to believe in your idea!
Answer these 3 questions in your video:
- What is your fresh idea / original project?
- How will it reach an audience NEW TO YOU?
- How will you do it well – and artistically?
Upload your video to YouTube at high resolution (HD) and make it public. Provide the video link on the Peak Arts Prize entry form at PeakArtsPrize.org by midnight on February 15.
During the application period, Pikes Peak Library District will offer two free video workshops designed for Peak Arts Prize Applicants. The workshops will be held at Library 21c on January 20 from 12-2 p.m. and February 7 from 5-7 p.m. More workshop details can be found here.
