National Forest Service Exhibit
The National Forest Service Exhibit officially opens February 9 at 6 p.m. followed by a lecture at 7 p.m. by Tom L. Thompson titled “A History of the Forest Service: Reflecting on the Times, Ties, Timbers, Stakes, and Statues.” Light refreshments will be offered.
The Western Museum of Mining & Industry is pleased to announce the February 9 opening of its next exhibit, “Minerals You Use Everyday from the National Forests.” This exhibit consists of an interactive component from the National Museum of Forest Service History and a selection of minerals from WMMI’s collection. All other times the normal admission fees will apply as listed below:
