Rajeev Taranath is one of the world's foremost players of the sarod, an instrument often described as an Indian lute, smaller in size than a sitar and frequently featured in classical Hindustani music. He is joined in concert by tabla artist Abhiman Kaushal. Of Taranath, The Hindu publication writes, "His tone is radiant and rich, charged with the sensitivity of his soul".
