Dr. Gardiner practiced medicine in late nineteenth and early twentieth century Colorado. Hear about his days at Crested Butte, Meeker, and Colorado Springs (including the Woodman Sanatorium, presently Mount St. Francis) caring for everyone from General Palmer, to its poorest residents, especially tubercular patients, who flocked to Colorado seeking “the fresh air cure” he advocated.
