Learn to combine common household items like shaving cream, salt, oil, baking soda, and vinegar with acrylic paint, sand, and ink to create textured mixed media pieces you will love. Use various materials as you learn to see everyday items in new ways. Students are encouraged to explore the natural tendencies of these items, as well as different ways to manipulate the media with paintbrushes, feathers, and other tools to get a finished piece.
