Ron Cree – Following college, Ronald Cree volunteered, working with rural residents of Appalachia, homeless in Chicago, and orphaned boys in Canada, mentored Latino youth in West Oakland and adopted a thirteen-year-old boy from Mexico. Ronald’s first novel for teens, Desert Blood, was published by Simon and Schuster, and he is actively at work on a second novel for middle grade readers.
Shannon Lawrence – A fan of all things fantastical and frightening, Shannon Lawrence writes in her dungeon when her minions will allow, often accompanied by her familiar, Cleo. Damon Smithwick – Damon Smithwick is published as Damon Alan, author of the Dark Seas series. He writes military space operas, and is currently working on a political thriller as well. When not writing he designs games, homeschools his kids, and tries to create visual art.
