The Machine Shop is excited to present Intergalactic Micro Ecosystems which is a series of encaustic works exploring potential textures and topography of unknown and unexplored environments. The works created by Briget Heidmous focus on the combination of distinct characteristics which create an environment inspired by principles of nature's physical constructs. Focusing on a materials reaction to gravity, heat, air, wind, and pressure that creates textures, topography, and pattern.  These works feature a style of encaustic work with an incredible fresh perspective.
