Heywood is the judge for the 2018 Visions of Light Photographic Exhibition, slated to hold its opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 2. Heywood has studied with The Denver School of Photography, The Colorado Photographic Arts Center, and has mentored under some of Denver’s most accomplished photographers. He is involved in several photography communities in the Denver area, including serving as the President of the Lone Tree Photography Club, and has served on the board of The Colorado Council of Camera Clubs.
In his workshop, Heywood will teach photographers how to generate income selling their art. He says, “It isn’t that hard, perhaps the hardest part is taking the first step. We all can do some simple, inexpensive first steps and grow our income over time.” In this workshop Tom Heywood will provide something for everyone, including those who have already had some success selling their art.
Tom will discuss some of the many ways a photographer can sell his or her art. His topics will include digital marketing and sales including social media, storefront and gallery retail sales, art fair sales and more. Tom has had success selling his art and has learned some important lessons that he will share with the attendees.
