The Heart & Stroke Walk is one of Colorado Springs’ largest 5K events, and an opportunity to educate and raise awareness for the thousands of individuals living in and around the city. Last year, we were able to reach more than 3,000 people. This means 3,000 people are now healthier and more aware because they know the risks and signs. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer and responsible for 1 in 3 deaths. But, we still have a long way to go.
We would like for you to join our fight and help spread the word about heart disease and stroke. Please join us for the 2015 Heart & Stroke Walk on Saturday, June 6. There will be free food and fun activities for the entire family including your dog! We want to help you build a team and manage your awareness campaign. You never know who you will affect and you could even save a life. Please visit www.csheartwalk.org to register and start your team or contact us at Courtney.hammock@heart.org.
