Harvest Center's Earth Day Celebration

Celebrate Earth Day at Aspen Valley Ranch!
10am-2pm April 18, 2015
The Harvest Center of Woodland Park invites you to an Earth Day celebration at Aspen Valley Ranch April 18th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cosponsors include Gordon Jackson Foundation, CUSP and Catamount Institute with demonstrations and presentations by numerous local community groups. There will be environmental activities for kids of all ages. Tour greenhouses, visit chickens, see a sawmill demonstration and the Riparian Trailer on-site as well as the Colorado River Model from Catamount. Find out about trout in the classroom and learn what a watershed is by viewing the Riparian Trailer from Teller-Park Conservation District. Some of the many kid activities include making bird feeders, planting seeds and decorating reusable grocery bags.
