The Rocky Mountain Military Affairs Society hosts a free public lecture, “Gunpowder Diplomacy: The 1637-1638 Shimabara Rebellion and the Dutch East India Company” presented by Tim Romans, U.S. Air Force Academy. The RMMAS seeks to educate the public about warfare and military issues, past and present, through presentations and publications by scholars and other subject matter experts.
