Golden Age Kirtan is a Colorado based mantra meditation group. Nikunja (Nikunja Bihari Das), Ananda (Ananda Murari Das) and Madhu (Madhuri pura Das) have been practicing and teaching Kirtan for years in the Bhakti yoga tradition. Their love and deep appreciation for the vast ability to express and develop devotion through the practice of Kirtan has inspired them to share It with seekers all over the world. Seeing Kirtan as the universal song of all cultures seeking spiritual understanding, they feel very privileged for the opportunity to share Kirtan everywhere they go.

Kirtan is an ancient practice of call and response chanting in the Bhakti Yoga (yoga of love and devotion) tradition. This mantra meditation is accompanied by musical instruments and rhythmic drumming and the audience is encouraged to participate by chanting, clapping, singing and dancing. In its heartfelt expression Kirtan can induce profound states of bliss, realization, and esctasy. It has the power to open the heart and free the mind. You will not be able to resist the urge to join in!
