The Garden of the Gods 10 Mile Run and 5K are two of the most beautiful road races in the country, with challenging courses that wind through the park's massive sandstone spires. Now in its 39th year, the event draws about 2,000 runners. The 10-mile run is the first leg in the Triple Crown of Running Series, which also includes the Summer Roundup Trail Run and the Pikes Peak Ascent, or the ascent portion of the Pikes Peak Marathon.
