Gallery 113 First Friday Downtown Art Walk and Artists' Reception

John Box’ photography shows inspiration from his time with Ansel Adams. Darlene Hoffacker’s palette knife paintings are a nice complement.  Box and Hoffacker are featured in May at Gallery 113 on Tejon. Box captures the character of places where people live and work. Box had the privilege of joining Ansel Adams on a photo shoot as an undergrad. Time with Adams had significant impact on the approach Box chose to take with his work.  Hoffacker works with a variety of mediums and is a member of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society.  People seeking color find her tasteful array quite appetizing.
