Are your heroes blandly heroic? Your villains dastardly dry and lifeless? Do your supporting characters have the personality of beige paint? Published fiction author Jax Bubis will present her keys to creating rich characters with the depth to make your stories feel real to the reader. Her one hour event includes time for Q&A so bring your concerns and conundrums that worry you about your characters. 8:00 (sharp) – 9:30:  Tre Critique – A three-member team approach to more dynamic and informative critiques of our work. Please bring three copies of your latest work needing a critique, in the following format: – 1,000 words (4 pages) – double-spaced – 12-pt Times New Roman. Each group will spend 20 minutes reading one person’s work, another 20 minutes reading another person’s work, then 30 – 40 minutes time critiquing one another’s work using the Tres Critique method. 9:30 – 10:00:  Freefall.  Winding Down
