Countdown to Apollo: Apollo 9

Join the Discovery Center as we continue to celebrate Apollo’s 50^th anniversary.

This month we are remembering Apollo 9 and its important mission of manned test of lunar hardware in Earth Orbit.

Former NASA Apollo Engineer, Lou Ramon will talk about the Apollo program, his career with NASA and his personal stories about the Apollo program and astronauts.

The Space Foundation and Discovery Center will celebrate the 50^th anniversaries of the Apollo missions in a nine-month program.

We started with Apollo 8 on December 12, 2018 and will conclude on July 20, 2019 with Apollo 11.

Each month we will host/co-host special events and activities at the Discovery Center and in the community with local partners.
