Collegium Musicum Concert

The Collegium Musicum Ensemble, under the direction of Nancy Ekberg Tynan, presents a concert in Packard Hall. Collegium Musicum is Colorado College's "old music" ensemble, focusing on classical and dance music from the Renaissance and later. Collegium performs on instruments contemporary to the eras being studied, giving students the opportunity to learn recorders, frame drums, viols, and more. The group performs many of its own arrangements, and students play a role in the process of re-creating music that, despite its great age, is not forgotten.
