Chamber Music

First Christian Church is presenting their annual chamber music program, played by members of the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs and friends. The program will feature duos, trios, and quartets of strings, woodwinds and piano, playing delightful music from the 1700’s to the present, from classical to jazz.

Works to be performed include movements from:

• Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano by Nikolai Kapustin
• Concertino for Flute, Violin and Bass by Erwin Schulhoff
• Histoire du Tango by Astor Piazzolla
• Quartet for Piano, Violin, Viola and Cello by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
• Trio for Flute, Oboe and Piano by Blaž Pucihar
• Pièce Romantique by Philippe Gaubert
• Trio for Piano, Violin and Cello by Clara Schumann
• Quartet No. 1 for Four Bb Clarinets by Sean Osborn
• Sonatine for Flute and Bassoon by Pierre Gabaye
