In this talk, Melina Viscaino-Aleman will discuss the works of Carlota Espinoza.

In this talk, Melina Viscaino-Aleman will discuss the works of Carlota Espinoza. Carlota Espinoza colors the greater Denver metro area with a uniquely urban perspective of Mexican American history, landscape, and place. Espinoza’s art work presents various representations of women, and these variations are important because they become ways of reading the aesthetics of regionalism and place in Chicana/o literary and cultural studies.
