C'anupa Peace Pipe Offering at SunWater Spa

The White Horse Circle of the Council of Elders and the Smokebrush Foundation for the Arts invite you to a traditional c’anupa peace pipe ceremony this Saturday, October 24.

White Buffalo Calf Woman brought the Sacred Pipe (C’anupa) to the Lakota People about 2000 years ago. In Lakota Way, we see ourselves as simply a part of the vast web of life, the Sacred Hoop. So whenever we pray, we don’t just ask Great Spirit for ourselves, but for all of our relations – two-legged, four-legged, rooted, winged, stone people, star people etc. Please join us in sending our prayers through this powerful and moving ceremony
