CALL FOR ART- 5th ANNUAL JUDGED MINIATURES ART SHOW 2016

September 2016 is Academy Art & Frame Company’s annual miniature exhibition and we want your art in mini! This is an Open Call for Art, All Ages, All Media accepted. Miniature paintings and sculptures are fine art on a small scale, with minute attention to detail, which can withstand close inspection or enlargement.

Image size for 2D works must NOT exceed 25 square inches/63.5 centimeters. (Examples: 5×5, 4×6, 1×25, 3×3, etc.) Sculpture/3D size must not exceed 125 cubic inches, excluding base and/or mountings (Example: 5x5x5).

There is a fee of $9 per image with a maximum of 5 images per person. Cash prizes for 1st place in each category. Categories depend on submissions but generally include : Water Media (watercolor and acrylic), Oil, Printmaking, Photography, Mixed Media, 3D/Sculpture, etc.
