Kelly Hurst is the founder and executive officer of Being Black at School. She will discuss systemic racism in the school system and her efforts to create an inclusive environment for students by providing training and support for anti-bias education.

After spending 23 years in the public education system as a teacher, literacy coach, guidance dean, and assistant principal, Kelly witnessed first-hand how the system helped white students thrive while continuing to marginalize black students. She
