Audition for Oscar Wilde’s riotous British satire with rampant identity crises!
In this riotous bit of fun in which everyone takes every silly thing far too seriously, Village Arts is taking all stuffy British manners with one lump of sugar or two and a little finger held aloft! The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde, is a bit of satire set in 1890’s England.
Summary: Two men—one from the country and another from the city—are friends who fall in love with women the other disapproves of, because each knows the other to be not entirely good enough to marry
