Presenting an unusual collection of 20th Century music ranging from 1920-1970, Archtop Eddy does more than sing the songs, he tells you their stories and leaves you thinking about songs you thought you knew and about “new” songs you never knew.
In 1877 Thomas Edison recorded the first song, Mary Had A Little Lamb. Shortly thereafter, music in all forms blossomed on phonograph records. Many of these songs are audio markers in history — perfect gems for their time and place.
