Altezza Trio: 20th Century Masterpieces

The dynamic Altezza Trio enjoys a vibrant concert schedule and presents a wide range of repertoire that mixes traditional with contemporary.

Formed in 2012 in Colorado Springs, it is comprised of

• Clarinetist Sergei Vassiliev, principal clarinetist of Colorado Springs Philharmonic
• Violinist Karine Garibova, member of Veronika String Quartet
• Pianist Angelina Gadeliya, professor of piano at University of Connecticut

The trio has toured Colorado extensively and performed in such leading venues and concert series as Lake City Arts Chamber Music series, Green Box Arts Festival, “Second Tuesdays at Trinity” Music Series, “Chamber Music in the Pines” at Benet Hill Monastery, Pauline Chapel series at the Broadmoor, The Mezzanine, Centennial Hall at the University of Colorado, and the Colorado Springs Conservatory Faculty Recital Series among others.

The Altezza trio strives to present innovative programming and brings their individual artistry and similarity of backgrounds into a unity of style and spirit.
